The first 24 hours were marked by my lost luggage (there is always a first time), 40 degrees heat (where the perceived temperature was around 45 degrees), 90% humidity, literally pouring streams of sweat and total madness on the roads.
It seems to be on another planet where there are no rules and things not happen here on a daily basis. So it doesn't smell so bad like they said, the air conditioning really can not be turned off, therefore dozens of times a day from the oven to the refrigerator where the cold air literally torn off your head. If you do not get sick it will be another miracle (the window in a hotel room didn't have handles and even with the door open an air curtain effectively prevented the temperature to rise above 22 degrees). Welcome to another planet called India;)

On the roads you can meet literally everything from the overlimit loaded trucks, rickshaws, tuk tuk, bicycles with all kinds of cargo.... , motorcycles in various configurations (up to 7 people on board including babies and dogs), mating goats and donkeys as well, cattles of cows, peacocks, snakes, monitor lizards, dromedaries, antelopes, and people taking a nap on the roadside of busy and noisy motorways...

Cows everywere, they go around alone or in groups, even on "their" highways, which, taking into account that local drivers drive like crazy and a multitude of vehicles and their deplorable condition, these are the most dangerous roads we've ever rode ... It even beats Peru and Kenya together. Well, in this time we were happy that we didn't rent a car and attempt to drive because it would have been simply impossible ...

No need to write much about the world-class monuments because everyone knows how much there is to see in India , but in the matter of fact, even if there weren't any monuments, it would have been worth to visit India because this country is exceptional, especially because of it's people... They make it so unique, colorful and exotic.
